Journal from a survivor of the Lost Kingdom
A journal written by a survivor of the Lost Kingdom's Inner Court. It details the political and social environment, as well as the events, leading up to The Fall. In addition to, the Fall itself in harrowing clarity, and the aftermath.
The context and language in the journal, would lead one to assume that the writer was very close to the royal family. Multiple private conversations and social engagements with the royal family are briefly talked about.
It shares a wealth of information on the events of The Fall that no one ever heard or knew. The book hints at possible sabotage and betrayal. That the scale of what was pulled off could only be performed by an organization. One very rich in resources as well. Later in the book, it provided possible clues on who that organization was. Fervent scribbles covered many pages to come up with possible answers. It goes into great depth regarding events and evidence to prove their theories.
Found by the Crew on one of their adventures. It was conspicuous where it was, hidden away. The Crew thought it would contain vital clues on The Fall. It did indeed, but also information more personally intriguing. The Captain unexpectedly stumbled upon knowledge of his heritage. It turns out that the Captain might be the former Prince of the Fallen Kingdom! The journal continues by implying that the author was the royal couple's personal shield. Stating that the King and Queens, ordered them to take the Prince and flee. To keep the Prince safe. To survive. To live. The both of them. Only one remains now.
Regretfully, the journal ends abruptly a short while after The Fall. It is presumed that the author was killed by the journal's sudden stop. The Captain eventually comes to the conclusion that it's probably true. The timeline and specific events match up a little too well to what he remembers and was told.
