Personal history

Alice Dyecolt is a member of the Dyecolt family, thus she had access to great sums of wealth and splendor. As a child she was treated as a jewel of the family. Her parents took her to every event and was paraded through the parties and balls of the wealthy. In the higher circles, Alice was a celebrity that exude beauty and grace.   Among her peers, Alice was alienated. She had no friends nor lovers despite the many times she has approached others. "You are too beautiful, I would look ugly in comparison," some said. A particularly cruel man once told her "You are an idol, a tool, and not someone who should seek a simple life. Stay in the light, you will fail in the dark." Alice, despite her beauty, was entirely alone.   Alice fell into a deep depression. She refused to bathe, refused makeup, and did not allow the servants to dress her. Her parents, cruel as they were, had her drugged to be bathed and dressed. For many months this was the routine. She would stay in her room, refusing to be made more beautiful. Eventually, she gave up and stopped fighting them. This was when she decided to end it.   Alice was able to obtain a Warp Pearl. An object that she knew was a potent poison. She dressed herself to be as beautiful as can be, a reminder to her family that used her as a trophy, and swallowed the Pearl.   She survived.   The Warp Pearl did not kill Alice. Instead, she was transformed into a Witch. Her skin became pure and unblemished, made entirely of porcelain. Her gift was that of false beauty. All dolls, paintings of people, statues, and other forms of artistic representation of beauty is her domain. Her hatred of her own looks was enhanced to a blinding rage. She spent days trying to shatter her porcelain skin. Not a single scratch was made.   When she was found by her family, she turned them into living dolls, and used them to hide herself away and gain the name of the Porcelain Witch.

Mental Trauma

The Porcelain Witch is as mad as any other witch. Her madness is a cruel twist of her old life. Being used as a trophy against her will, taught Alice to hate herself. Now, she wears a mask of shattered porcelain to make herself look as ugly as she can. The Porcelain Witch still views herself as the most beautiful in the land and seeks someone who is more so. She removed all mirrors from her home and lashes out lethally at those who compliment her beauty.
