Military Groups in Rhomedan
The Iron Guard
The general military and navy of rhomedan. Has jurisdiction between all cities and at all borders. The Iron Serpents are guarding the harbours, while the Iron Towers are the border Patrol. Most othe rmilitary groups can be commandeered by Iron generals. They have to follow their orders - except the golden guard that are directly under the emperor Caminian III.
The Golden Guard
The palace guard of the royal family. Also protecting diplomats, council members and the high priest of apac.The Silver Guard
Soldiers in line of duty for the temples and churches of Rhomedan. Usually also acolytes of the respective god.The Copper Guard
Personal and private guards and armies. As a gesture and thanks in helping against rebellion, these private armies have a semi official acceptance to work freely on privately owned ground. Some Groups even have rights to commandeer the Quarz Guard of their respective cities - or are simply providing the personel for the Quartz Guard.The Quartz Guard
City guard, also applies to any law enforcement in cities and villages. They are independent from the Iron Guard, but the ranks are equivalent and they respectively do folow orders while in the jurisdiction of theother organization.Inofficial Groups
These groups are not considered an official part of the organized armed forces in Rhomedan. They are often categorized as a guild and are at the most sanctioned by tolerating them. Some of them, however, are in conceiled conflict with the authorities.
Steel Chain Troupe
Group of mercenaries and guards for hire. Unlike the Copper guard, these lack the official certificates by the government and are not associated with only one enterprise. They are serving multiple contracts at a time - though the leader is keen on avoiding conflicting contracts. The Steel Chain Troupe is known for good dicipline but a certain lack of morals.
Coal Guard
Militant group organized from rebellious worker factions. They mostly working on showing presence in circumstances where workers are misstreated or to stand up against the Copper- and Quartz Gaurd when they see the workers in danger. Tensions are high but so far there were no violent incidences. In some bigger cities, the Coal Guard are replacing the Quartz Guard as arms of the law in certain parts of town.
The Cobblestone's Underground
The moniker for the rebellious worker movement responsible for several acts of sabotage and theivery. There are some well known public figures part of the group, but these representants speaking for the group are protected by the crown prince. They are well known through the distribution of many pamphlets and flyers all over the central industrial towns in Rhomedan
