Photosynthesis Even though Alderians are carnivorous, they can photosynthesize in the presence of sunlight to restore an amount of health at the cost of a penalty to their maximum health. The player decides how much they wish to heal, but the penalty will have the same roll. This penalty disappears after a long rest. e.g. if a player chooses to heal 1d6 health, they must also roll 1d6 to determine their max health penalty
Magically Weak While Alderians possess the receptor sites to unlock their magical potential, they have significantly fewer than other races. Alderians can only learn two spells at level 1 instead of three.
Hunter Culture Every Alderian is raised to hunt, to learn the best place to strike each animal they come across. When fighting wild beasts and animals, Alderians gain a +1d4 to damage.
