Personal history
Zephyr grew up in the slums with his little brother, Julian. Things were tough on the both of them, especially considering their parents passed away when Zephyr was 16. He did his best to provide for them, but eventually he was forced to turn to crime to make enough without essentially selling the both of them into inhumane conditions. He resolved not to tell Julian where all this money was coming from, and insisted he had just gotten a raise. The auto shop he worked at was only a front for a heavy-duty cybernetics installer.
Eventually, Julian found out what he was doing, and he felt betrayed. Zephyr had been lying all along, while at the same time trying to lead his little brother down a better path. He looked like a hypocrite. By the time Zephyr turned 21, he and Julian had a total falling out, and did not see each other again for 3 years.
They met as rivals in the field.

Failures & Embarrassments
Zephyr has had numerous failures over the course of his life. He was embarrassed often as a child, since he grew up poor, and didn't have some of the luxuries the other kids had. He grew into a spiteful kid, and thus started the downward spiral of his grades.
During high school, especially after his parents passed away, he'd tease others relentlessly. Sadet managed to embarrass him in front of a ton of people, though.
His biggest failure is his fallout with his brother, Julian.

Zephyr is actually very clever, despite what his grades may show. He's mechanically-minded -- good at interpreting and following directions (when he wants to, anyway). He's a kinetic learner, so he learns best by doing things with his hands.

Chaotic Neutral. He cares about his friends, and says "fuck off" to any rules imposed on him.
He's not too philosophical, and prefers not to think about existence a whole lot. He's decided that he wants to live in the here and now.
