The thing with Germaine was that you never knew what she was thinking. It wasn't that she wore an expressionless mask all the time. On the contrary, her default expression was usually a faint smile and a curious gaze. It was just that she was well schooled in the ability of concealing thoughts behind a smile. Not to say the smile was fake though. She always seemed genuinely pleasant and willing to hear whatever it was you had to say. But it took a lot to get that smile to fade. She always seemed in control, like whatever surprises life would throw at her were just minor inconveniences. Nothing to get fussed over. Germaine's mind was like a still pond, one that you continuously have to probe to find just how deep it went.

History
Roman stumbled into Silvanus after making a cross-country trek to get away from her old life, including a dark magic teacher. Germaine invited her to stay with her and Cas, on one condition. Roman had to stop using the magic her former tutor had instructed her in. Roman's relationship with Germaine is one of begrudging respect and some defiance. Germaine cares for Roman deeply and wants her to succeed, to grow into the woman that Germaine knows she will be one day. But Roman's stubbornness does wear on her a bit.
Nicknames & Petnames
Roman was given the nickname "Ghost" by another friend and Germaine likes to use it sometimes. Roman calls Germaine by her given name, but will occasionally call her "Gerry" like everyone else.
