Silk Over Steel

It is 010, the time when the earth caved in and demons began to flood the surface. The events leading to the demons' invasion and the invasion itself was so horrible that the years fell back to zero, and people tried to forget the horrors.   The main city is Bieath, the closest city to the crater (which still is hundreds of miles away) surrounded by a forest on three sides with a mountain behind them, leading further into civilization. The citizens there have a high chance of having ESP, and thus are incredibly likely to have their soul crystalize into wings. The shattering of wings is what saved lives before, and that may be the only way to stabilize the world and live in peace again.   The story focuses around a school that is desperate to create warriors out of these children, Starrise, with the protagonist Alisha, who fell into their world after placing a wish on a wishing stone and then dying.
