Courtship in Estia
When Men want to ask women out they go up to the woman and perform an intricate Dance in front of her. They usually wore bold colored tunics that were mostly decorated with a flower or two signifying their like of the lady. From a casual date to a asking a lady out to a ball all the way to asking for her hand in marriage the more significant the asking the longer the dance and more intricate the tunic.

Execution
dance was to the left (clockwise) and that the steps consisting of a step to the left with the left foot followed by a step on the right foot closing to the left foot. The dances also included tiptoeing and jumping steps, as well as several curtsy's. At the end the men would then make his ask.

Tunics with Flowers. As the commitment was higher the more vivid in color the Tunic was and the more flowers on it.
Participants
The Men did all the dancing. The women at then end would signify if they accepted or would turn and walk away to decline. The men could also bring their friends to dance with him to make it a bigger type of show.
