A few thousand years go magic was very plentiful and powerful. During that time, a great war between mages scorched the land. Powerful wizards made weapons out of other casters. These living weapons survived through time. Some are beasts, other men, some immune to magic, and others only reside in our dreams.

Modern history

  Almost 20 years ago, A powerful Necromancer (Theyous), with the help of a dead dragon (Black rot), Raised an army of several thousand dead, claiming the northeast countries of Baruin, Khurt, Gunheim. He stationed himself in the old Colosseum located in Siktofl where he would meet his fate. His reign was short, but he did scar the land. As of today no man, dwarf, elf or gnome live in this area, it is now called the northern waste. A year later a man simply called the Bruce, claimed power to Maglach by using his power of a dream weaver. Entering the Ruler's dream, he could take control of him. Soon LLynnav, Beorth, and Acennum fell to the Bruce. Richard Rahl the great king of Connaid, was placed under the Bruce's magic. Richards wife had their mages put him in an induced coma to save his life. The queen fled the capital (Byla) with her incapacitated husband and were never seen again. Most of the Dwarfs withdrew to the mountains of Dramil Today's life is very bleak, goods and food are hard to come by. Chaos rules the land. The Bruce has his "whites" mindless men watching everyone, through their eyes and ears the Bruce surely is listening
