Being the leader of an organization of criminal is a dangerous profession. You tend to make a lot of people angry by your actions. Angry people might do rash, sometimes even violent, actions towards the people they're angry at. This is a situation that might make one's life considerably shorter if countermeasures aren't made.

This is the reason why the Shoe Maker's Shadows exist. Their only job is to keep the Shoe Maker safe from attempts on his life or health. Handpicked from the members of Eluin's Shadow, the Shadows are two or three of the very best bodyguards and stealthy people among the criminal gang.

The Shoe Maker's Shadows have some skills that are mandatory to even be considered. Stealth is one of them. The Shadows aren't always supposed to be visible. A lot of the time they're supposed to be hiding in the shadows nearby, keeping a close eye on the Shoe Maker's surroundings, and being ready to strike if something happens.

The Shadows will also need mastery of at least one weapon, preferrably a couple different ones.
