Homework #3 - Summer Camp 2019 Inspiration Board
Keeping inspired is a great way to help avoid burning out. We want you to make an inspiration board on World Anvil. Image Galleries, Roll Tables, Sound Tracks, anything that helps keep you going and sets the tone for your world!
Hoboy. An inspiration board for my world, eh? This needs to be divided up into chunks.
The Wasteland
The Wasteland is practically devoid of life. Only the occasional Wasteland Beast roam this area. Animals are deterred from the area, and staying there for too long (weeks?) might not be healthy.
Vutara Bay
Vutara Bay is a coastal region filled with pirates, fishermen, tropical beaches and relatively safe waters. Think Pirate of the Caribbeans, Mediterranean to tropical climate, busy ports, superstitions, sirens, seagulls, taverns full of sailors...
Inmalenor
Inmalenor is a land of long tribal tradition, dancing aurorae, biting cold winters, a general feeling of toughing it through hard times...
Tower of Lenthos
The main building of the Academy of the Arcane - one of the most prestigious places to learn magic. Maze-like corridors that confuse everyone not familiar with them - several new students get lost every year. The world's best library lies here.
Kael Thalori / Enarion
Kael Thalori - the Grand Forest of the Enari. Wild, untamed forests, yet the people have adapted to their environment. Monarchy decided on matrimonal line - you always know who your mother is.
Although looking frail, never underestimate the Enari. They're tough, they know how to fight, their weapons are of excellent quality, and they've probably honed their fighting skill for longer than you have lived.
This area is also the home of the Druids. Nature magic. Best hospital-esque organization in the known world. Pilgrimage to their holy tree.
Vulborim
Large country with a small population. Eternal hunt for water. Scorching hot and dry. Most people live by the coast or along the river splitting the country in two. Water caravans. Routes based on oases.
Ruled by an eternal chieftain who likes to make up strange laws to make himself entertained.
I love how you've broken this up into bite-sized chunks. It gives a lovely overview of your world and entices the reader to explore further. Well done.
