Shinxia

Before any can remember there was the @Shinkai and the Spirits. The spirits battled and competed for meaningless positions of godly power, and no permanency. Then in quick succession four of these gods disappeared, doing the impossible and reaching enlightenment while maintaining their power. Thereafter known as the Four Buddhas, the realms they left behind became permanent fixtures, becoming the Axis Caelum, The Pillar of Heaven, or The Tower of Inner Realms. Activity, Stillness, Physics, and Life, and at the center, the material world formed.   From there the Shinkai and the spirits within were catalyzed into action. Among these first deities was the Crimson Emperor a tyrant god who conquered the Pillar of Heaven and ruled it with cruelty. He built Tengoku, the first palace of heaven and Yomi as his Dungeon. But as other gods rose to power they rebelled against him, and leading them was the benevolent Jade Emperor. When he rose to power the Crimson Emperor was thrown to rule his own dungeon and there he has remained ever since. Thereafter, other gods formed their own realms in orbit around the tower, creating domains they ruled while pledging fealty to the Jade Emperor.   As time past and the material world continued to coalesce the spirits eventually turned their attention to it and began inhabiting it. Amongst the many stars and worlds, spirits made their claims and took up residence. Eventually, plants, animals, and even people were made and became part of this universe.   Kami are everywhere. The gods see the world as their playground. And only the strongest can hold a godly throne.   This is Shinxia.
