Sheol

A land perched beneath the world of men, ruled by an estranged light-bringer. Sheol, more commonly known as Hell, is the home of demons and damned souls. It was originally created as a means of isolated punishment for Lucifer, forming archangel of the morning sun. The archangels were meant to serve humans. Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel agreed to their master's wishes, but prideful Lucifer refused to be put beneath primal man. As punishment for his disobedience, a pit of desolate land at the Earth's core was opened up as a prison for the light-bringer, called Sheol, or literally "underworld."   The land was a festering wasteland of darkness, filled with unforgiving oceans, dragon infested mountains, and shadowing terrains. Seeking revenge on Nirvana, Lucifer brought his light to Sheol and settled in the center of the land. For years following his fall, more and more angels followed his path, rebelling against the heavens for its unfair treatment. Soon, Lucifer began to build a strong army with many equally strong leaders.   Sheol in its current state consists of seven kingdoms, each representing one of the deadly sins. Lucifer, the emperor, governs Dis, kingdom of pride, in the center of Sheol. To the east lies Mezora, kingdom of Avarice, in the hands of Queen Mammon and Akri'qar, kingdom of Lust, ruled by King Asmodeus. To the south, the shadowy land of Brakhava, kingdom of Wrath, overseen by Queen Sathanus and Isiqu, kingdom of Sloth, governed by the youngest king in Sheol, Abbadon, son of Appolyon. To the west, there is Rheahara, kingdom of Envy, ruled by King Beelzebub, bordering on the Sea of Limbo. Finally, to the north lies Qi'dem, kingdom of Gluttony, overseen by King Belphegor.
