Faren and Kelvaxis
Faren may as well be a ball of ice floating through the void, a cold place where only the hardiest survive, it's cities heated by large magical wards and it's countryside under a perpetual layer of snow. Kelvaxis on the other hand is a blisteringly hot desert with oasis towns scattered throughout the shifting sands. At the centre of the 2 conjoined continents is a large mountain range with a split personality on one side steep snow-covered peaks and on the other a volcanic landscape.
Long before the continents were raised the landmass that became Faren and Kelvaxis was a land of two extremes due to a large mountain range that stopped the southern and northern winds from mixing and causing this varied climate.
