Luxury Zeppelins
Although called zeppelins they are more akin to flying ships held aloft via magic. Luxury zeppelins were owned by wealthy merchants during the trade boom before the war. They served to ferry them between cities, to the country, across the water, and to anywhere else the owner fancied to go. Rarely carrying anything more valuable than the passengers themselves they were rarely attacked and needed magic shielding only to deter larger aerial creatures that might see the buffet as lunch or the roof as a nesting site.
Common colors include pearl white, deep purple, pink, and other bright pastel colors; anything to say 'look at me! I'm rich!' for 50 miles away. Most had some form of gold trimming and were covered in flowing designs and images to give the ships a much greater appeal that a large single color boat. Even the propulsion systems were not safe from the eccentricity of the rich. Propellers and jets were often replaced with large fins and even wings that allowed the ship to glide through the air, sacrificing speed and practicality for grace while in the air.
Early luxury zeppelins were made by various companies on a request basis, but seeing a way to make money the flim-flam brothers went into business with Iron Will making the FFI luxury zeppelin company that quickly flourished in the new economy and became a major employer. When the trade stopped and the war came they switched to military zeppelins and began automating the process.
