Reikor

Reikor is a frigid kingdom located in the Northwest of the continent of Kaldria. it is a mountainous landscape with fjords laying like large blue scars across the intermittent tundra between mountains. this land is home to the kingdom of pale elves, a notorious and endangered people. this kingdom may be a remnant of a glorious past however it is rumored that they harbor prehistoric mother of dragons and that she is the spawn of this nations mighty avian beasts. this rumor is all too true in the minds of those involved in the elven civil war.

Geography

Reikor is a frigid mountainous landscape, with tundra and fjord's intermittently between the mountains. the northern coastline of Reikor is boarded by a large mountain range and in the heart of which is the mighty Floating Mountain of Reikor. This momentous magical phenomena is home to the capital and only remaining city of Reikor under the control of the pale elves. Below this mighty phenomena lays an unfrozen lake that steams with warmth. there were once a dozen of these mighty floating mountains but have longs since disappeared all except one.

Fauna & Flora

the majority of Reikors flora are a mix of small shrubs, tussocks, grasses and mosses. the southern reaches of Reikor are forested by pine trees. Reikor is a bland landscape of white, grey and browns throughout the majority of the year but during the few months of spring and summer when the temperature rises enough to cause flowering. this explosion of colour makes reikors tundra one of the most beautiful and stunning places on Elsteria. as opposed to the predominantly drab flora the fauna is much more exsiting. reikor is one of the few places where dragons can still be found, they are not as dminateing as they are said to be in tales of old but they are just as magnificant. Griffons, hipogriffs, cave bears and many other hardy creatures can be found in the lands of Reikor. the predominant sentient species are the birdfolk and the pale elves.

Natural Resources

Reikor is rich in fisheries, precious gemstones, metals and stone. Reikor is somewhat lacking in forestry.
