The Wraith

The Keeper of the Apocalypse, the Guardian of the Final Gate, the Master of Oblivion The Wraith

The Keeper of the Apocalypse, the Guardian of the Final Gate, the Master of Oblivion:   The Wraith has many names and is said to be the most feared of the Elari pantheon by the other gods. It is The Wraith who guards the Apocalypse Gate and the Wraith who holds the keys to open it. The Wraith is tasked with destroying gods when/if they fall out of line and become corrupted. According to the Church of Elaria during the Arcano-Clysm The Wraith loosed but a single fraction of the entities kept behind The Final Gate to cleanse the Pantheon of corrupted Gods and this is why the Pantheon is much smaller now than during the Imperial Era. Church belief indicates the doom of these gods occurred within the Blasted North and thus The Apocalypse Spires earn their nickname.   The Motivations of The Wraith are Balance and he is worshiped by those who seek balance in their lives or the cold hand of emotionless justice. Victims of crimes, abuse or corruption often call out to The Wraith to bring justice to their lives for the Wraith is seen as the ultimate judge, a harbinger of unsullied justice and at times the only official worthy of trust. In these corrupt days increasingly large numbers of peasants and minor nobility turn to The Wraith in their belief the system of laws has been turned into a tool for the corrupt.
