Obfuscate
These powers are available only to those with access to the Obfuscate Discipline.
For each dot a character possesses in Obfuscate he can freely re-roll 1 black dice when it comes to non-supernatural Stealth tests or roll offs.
Also note while all Obfuscate powers have the Mental tag, they actually do not intrude upon the minds of others (which is why Obfuscate powers generally only target the user) so any powers related with resisting mental manipulation have no affect on Obfuscate abilities.
Level 1
Cloak of Shadows
To begin with the power of Obfuscate does not actually make the user invisible it simply makes those who are looking in his general direction to take no notice of him. In other words, the power tricks the mind into believing there is nothing there. The Vampire is invisible as long as he does not move. Surveillance devices will not be fooled and will pick up the Kindred clearly.- Type: Power

- Cost: 1 Actions to activate and 1 Action to deactivate.
- Conditions: The power can only be activated if nobody is watching the Vampire. The Vampire must remain still. He can still be picked up by surveillance devices or supernatural abilities. Note any physical interaction with another object or individual will immediately break the illusion.
- Risk: None unless the Vampire suddenly reveals his presence to a witness.

- Duration: Until the Vampire decides to end the power by sacrificing an Action or the effects of the power are broken due to the Vampire moving or interacting with an object or individual.
Busy Doing Nothing
The Vampire has mastered the art of masking his movements to remain as unassuming as possible. The Vampire can reflexively decide to adopt a posture or activity which makes him blend in with his surroundings regardless of his appearance rating. He also gains a 2 Point Bonus against any attempts involving being randomly picked out from the crowd due to his appearance.- Type: Upgrade

The Kindreds footsteps do not make a sound as he moves about. None of the Kindreds movements make a sound unless he allows it. This does extend to clothing but not to other items or weapons he may posses.- Type: Upgrade

Scent of Dusk
The Kindreds body does not exude any smells regardless of where the Kindred had been. This power is highly prized by the Nosferatu who often operate from the sewers. The Kindreds body does not produce an odor, this includes anything which clings to the Kindred or any small objects currently in his possession. The Kindred also losses the Bane of the Wyrm universal bane which all Vampires possess.- Type: Upgrade

The Vampire had mastered the art of discreetly passing on messages to his allies. The Kindred can whisper a single sentence to a single individual which cannot be heard by other listeners nearby.- Type: Upgrade

Level 2
Unseen Passage
Perfecting the ability of Cloak of Shadows, the Vampire now discovers he can keep the effects going even while on the move. This power enhances cloak of shadows allowing the Vampire to move without breaking the powers effects. The power is still broken if the Vampire physically interacts with an individual or item. Surveillance devices will still not be fooled and pick up the Kindred clearly.- Type: Upgrade

Invisible Weapon
The Vampire now expands his power of Obfuscate over small inanimate objects he carries, in particular his favorite tool of assassination. Any small item (no bigger than a pistol or a combat knife) can be made invisible. The item or melee weapon will become visible the moment it makes contact with a target or another object or, in the case of a ballistic weapon, as soon as it fires. The weapon is clearly seen on surveillance devices.- Type: Power

- Conditions: The power can only be activated if nobody can see the item to begin with. The item or weapon can still be picked up by surveillance devices or supernatural abilities. Note any physical interaction with another object or individual will immediately break the illusion. If the item is no longer held by the Vampire, the illusion will also be broken.

- Duration: Until the Vampire decides to end the power by sacrificing an Action, the effects of the power are broken due to the item interacting with an object or individual or the Scene ends.
Scrawl
The Vampire uses his Abilities in Obfuscate and enhances his own blood with its essence. Clans in the Camarilla greatly value this ability as it can be used to mask a message nearly completely from unwanted eyes. The Vampire imbues a pot of ink, the tip of a pen or pencil with his own blood, a small drop will usually do. In extreme situations he may even just outright write the message in his Vitae although this is seen as wasteful. The message can only be read by its intended reader who the Vampire must declare ahead of time and whose name he must write in the message. The message cannot be read by anyone else unless the user possesses a supernatural ability to counter its effect.- Type: Ritual

- Range & Targets: Affects only a single writhing implement and writhing surface.
- Cost: 1 Rouse check (if using blood instead of ink) + however long it takes to write the message.
- Conditions: Must have a surface to write on. A Rouse Check is only made if the Vampire is forced to write the message fully in his own blood.

- Duration: Until the message is read or destroyed. Note the message can only be read once. After this it cannot be re-read as the enchantment on it is broken and the message becomes just a collection of words which do not make sense to anyone.
Taste of Water
The Vampire learns to disguise the taste of his own Vitae allowing him to make Ghouls and Blood Bonded servants out of the unwitting. The Kindred is able to give a cup of his vitae the appearance, smell and taste of water.- Type: Ritual

- Range & Targets: Anyone viewing the cup.
- Cost: 1 Rouse check + 1 Action (note you will likely also have to perform a Rouse check for the vitae needed to fill the cup)
- Conditions: Requires a cup of any size or material that is filled with the users vitae.

- Duration: 1 hour (note Vampire vitae is generally only potent for the first minute after leaving the Kindreds body)
Level 3
Ghost in the Machine
Keeping up with the times the Vampire had honed his Obfuscate ability so that it is able to fool even surveillance devices and recordings. All powers in Obfuscate can no longer be picked up by surveillance devices. All Obfuscate powers that use the Mental Tag now also gain the Spiritual Tag when used to their full effect (the Vampire can add and subtract the Spiritual Tag at will as each power is activated but only those with the spiritual tag will fool surveillance devices).- Type: Upgrade

Soul Mask
Dealing with supernatural entities who see the world through very different means the Vampire uses his abilities in Obfuscate to mask his spirit. The Vampire can change the colour, intensity, and nature of his aura to be able to pass as a normal mortal or to impersonate the aura of another supernatural creature he had encountered before.- Type: Reflexive

- Conditions: While the power can be activated at any point it grants the user no ability to know whether or not he is being scrutinized.
- Risk: None
- Test: Obfuscate + Wits or Intelligence (the user gains a 2 Point Bonus if matching his aura to that of others in the vicinity)
- Resistance Roll: Wits + Intelligence (or whatever the dice pool used by the ability to see auras is)
- Duration: 1 Scene
Veil of Blissful Ignorance
Nosferatu enjoy using this ability to toy with Mortals whom they deem as far too vain. Assamites on the other hand use this power to shield their Ghouls from the preying eyes of the public. The Vampire’s victim will be ignored by all other Mortals. This will extend to the target attempting to talk to them or shout at them. If the victim tries to interact with others Physically the other Mortal will think he is being haunted by a ghost or similar. If the victim actively hurts or kills another person the effects of the power are broken. The user can only choose a Mortal or Enhanced Mortal as the target and only other Mortals are affected.- Type: Power

- Range & Targets: Can only target a single individual who must be in visual range and within 100 meters. Affects any Mortal the victim tries to interact with.
- Cost: 1 Rouse Check + 1 Action
- Conditions: Visual range and within 100 meters of the victim. The Vampire must maintain constant Visual range of the victim.
- Risk: The affected mortal is of course panicked out of his mind while all others are not affected.
- Test: Obfuscate + Intelligence (3)
- Resistance Roll: None
- Duration: 1 Scene, until Visual range is broken, until the target moves more than 100 meters away or until the Vampire ends the power.
Level 4
Mask of a Thousand Faces
Many Nosferato have learned this ability as part of necessity. Cities are getting more and more crowded and there is only so much one can do from the sewers. The Vampire adopts the appearance of an average man. The face itself has no recognizable features and those viewing it will never be able to place the face to any name. The Vampire’s true nature is clearly seen on surveillance devices.- Type: Power
- Tag: Mental
- Range & Targets: Targets only the Vampire himself.
- Cost: 1 Rouse check + 1 Turn
- Conditions: Can only impersonate mortals of a profession the Vampire had seen before (construction workers, lawyers, security, IT experts). Note the power does not change the Vampire’s voice or provide him with a familiar face, simply someone who seem like they are meant to be here if done correctly. The Vampire can still be seen for what they are on surveillance devices and must perform the power outside of anyone else’s line of sight.
- Risk: Anyone looking to closely at the face for too long will start to wonder why he can’t seem to focus on it.
- Test: Obfuscate + Intelligence (4)
- Resistance Roll: None
- Duration: 1 Scene or until the Vampire’s concentration is broken by him being attacked or otherwise.
Chatterbox
Getting the image down pat a good actor will also be able to imitate the voice of another without issue. By drinking some of his victims blood the Vampire is able to use the victims own voice for a short period of time. This is not just an imitation of the subject’s voice but the actual voice itself.- Type: Ritual

- Range & Targets: Targets only the Vampire himself.
- Cost: 1 Rouse check + 1 Action (note you will likely be restoring a point of Hunger as you are actively ingesting blood)
- Conditions: Must drink some of the target’s blood.
- Risk: This is a blood ritual meaning it is highly noticeable.
- Test: Obfuscate + Wits (3)
- Resistance Roll: None
- Duration: Varies depending on the amount of blood drunk. A drop will make the effects last for a minute, a shot glass worth will make the effects last for 10 minutes, a mouthful for 1 hour and if the victim is drained dry the Vampire can use his voice whenever he chooses.
Level 5
Vanish
Now you see me, now you don’t. The Vampire strengthens his ties to Obfuscate to such a degree he can disappear even if directly observed by others. All of the Vampire’s Obfuscate abilities will now work even if the Vampire is directly observed.- Type: Upgrade
