Civilains Militia

The Anchorhead Militia, officially called the Civilians Militia

The Civilians militia is a small organized group made of retired imperial army soldiers. The group is paid by the Anchorhead Municipal Council, who supplies their equipment from the office of the Governor in Bestine. The Militia has a standing army of 20 soldiers and constables. Their jobs include policing the city, guarding the jail, and defending against raiders. However due to the nature of the members in the Militia, the crime solving aspect is very lacking, often not being able to catch a criminal unless in the act. They tend not to go out of the city limits, leaving farmers to fend for themselves.

  • Patrol Leader Torben Zeer - Patrol leader of the Militia
    All members of the Civilians Militia wear a flak vest with a blaster rifle (E-11). The armor is usually painted in dark green with yellow trim, while the E-11 is a decommissioned imperial rifle, given as surplus for the empire backed militias. The group will have a preference for being with the Empire, being themselves veterans that got wounded in the line of duty. They where offered the position with a large pension so that they may re-start their lives. A few new members can be locals from the area with onsite training from the sheriff but will likely be on patrols with a veteran member.

The militia members should try to attempt Stun on civilians, with lethal force toward Tuskins. Militia members primary objective is to capture any suspect and take them to the jail house, usually attempting to give a fine to help boost the economy of the town unless (GM) thinks the crime is severe enough for jail time. If the situation warrants it, the Militia will contact the Empire for my capital crimes.
GM Tips;   The Militia should try to work with the Players if they are doing jobs for the town. They however will not be willing to help due to their lack of resources, and unwillingness to leave the town itself. If players try to use social rolls to get them out, then the town will be at greater risk of attack, however, if failed on the roll. The players may find themselves without any support.
