SATS Seize Illegal Weapons from Raid

Late last night, a SATS raid on a Toyota-Huawei bus service center in Woodlands seized a sizable cache of illegal weapons and other contrabands. 15 men and 12 women have been taken into custody, including 26 Toyota-Huawei employees.
The raid took place at approximately 9PM, and involved two SATS tactical teams and supporting personnel from Certis CISCO. The teams quickly breached the compound and surrounded its security personnel personnel. After a short but tense standoff, TH security and staff signaled their compliance. As SATS officials secured the location, they received small arms and grenade fire from a fleeing vessel in an adjoining industrial canal. The vessel is believed to be one of several Barracuda speedboats being serviced at the location, and may be involved with organized crime.
According to SATS officials, the raid has been in preparation for some time based on accumulated evidence from an ongoing investigation. However, they have declined to disclose further details.
The service center operates under Toyota-Huawei direction, and was kept under scrupulous watch by the Public Security Bureau. That such a sizable supply of illegal goods came to be deposited inside its facilities reflects poorly on the security provided by this office, public or otherwise.
Toyota-Huawei is conducted an internal review of the matter, and the facility's manager, Duon Yahzu, could not be reached for comment.
A spike in citizen complaints from the Woodlands area is attributed to the recent increase in Public Security Bureau activity in the region.
