Mission Details:
I, Lt. Byung, was assigned to discreetly liase with Mr. Yeoh to transfer technical documents pertaining to Toyota-Huawei's latest ████████████ to our client, in exchange for the sum of ████ in untraceable electronic wallets.   Although we successfully made contact with Mr. Yeoh at the agreed location, the exchange could not be completed due to the influence of an outside party. It appears this party had embedded themselves among the restaurant staff and poisoned Mr. Yeoh's security detail shortly before I arrived. Shortly after my arrival, an unusual fire with blue smoke erupted in the kitchen, causing most of the diners to suffer hallucinogenic effects. Some of my staff were affected, possibly through some of the food and drink they consumed, but I didn't partake in the meal and was less affected. Mr. Yeoh was completely under the hallucinogen's effects, and stood up and wandered around the restaurant, after which a short waif-like girl wearing a black coat and sunglasses approached and grabbed Mr. Yeoh's briefcase. I pulled out my handgun and was about to shoot the thief, until I was distracted by the sudden noise of a commotion erupting outside the pier. I heard a gunshot, and ducked out of self-preservatory instinct. Fortunately it was just a lone gunshot and a shootout didn't develop. I could not see any armed persons through the window, so I ordered my remaining security staff to chase the thief as she fled through the restaurant door.   As one of my staff reached the restaurant entrance, a member of the kitchen staff attempted to trip him. He was no match for Sergeant Lau, who pushed him aside and continued his chase. So there are two of them. Soon I found there were at least three persons of interest when I saw the briefcase had been passed to another male kitchen staff wearing electronic goggles, who darted back into the kitchen. My security staff followed him inside, but were stopped after this runner slid under the legs of a chef holding a large pot of soup. She dropped it out of surprize, and a few of my team lost their footing to the now drenched floor, some even suffering scalding second degree burns. The runner used this opportunity to flee through the main entrance, starting a false alarm with the waiting patrons and causing them to flee into the kitchen and obstructing my path. The last I saw of him was at the roadside getting into a cab, which we were unable to pursue.   Although we were unable to recover the payment, at least our technical documents weren't passed over or stolen, so it should be possible to negotiate a future, more secure exchange. Seeing as our documents were never targeted, I have good reason to believe Temasek was not responsible for the restaurant incident. It must be an outside party with competing interests, Mr. Yeoh did allude to a rival within Temasek who is strongly against dealings with Toyota-Huawei. He also mentioned this rival has repeatedly advocated to alternatively deal with Confederated Boeing instead, whom I believe may be most responsible.
