Sierus Mice (see air us)

Sierus mice are small creatures that can be found in the steepest slopes of the highest mountains of An Gra.    These tiny green rodents hide from predators by curling into balls and pretending to be clusters of moss. They will also roll themselves down hills and steep rock faces. They seem to be impervious to fall damage.    There is strong evidence to suggest that their mossy camouflage is assisted by a tiny dram of magical illusion. This seems to be their only magical ability.   Sierus mice are very social creatures and will form small colonies wherever they settle. A solitary sierus mouse is likely to become depressed and will spend most of its time holding its own toes. They burrow or build nests and co-sleep in a fuzzy pile that helps to keep them warm as well as disguised.    They migrate in small herds to wherever they find the best food sources, and frequently invade orcish hunting camps, where they are usually allowed to remain as long as they stick to eating insects and stay out of food stores. They are often considered good hunting practice for younglings as well as simple pets.   In a pinch, they've also been known to swim extensive distances. One colony was found to have traveled all the way across the Scastian Sea on a westward current by holding each others' toes and turning themselves into a tiny furry raft.
