A wold ruled by magic. Where worship is power, the divine is poison, and where creatures of any CR can lurk just around the corner. As an adventurer, death often comes at a young age. Traveling must be carefully planned, and you must go well prepared. Sometimes even the walls of a city can't protect you. City dwellers still deal with rampaging dragons, demon hordes, armies or spies of other countries, city factions/gangs, criminals, and even their own governments.   Despite these constant threats, people are able to find time to enjoy themselves. They build relationships with people around them, they immerse themselves in a book to escape their problems, and most everywhere have a few games all the locals know.       ---Warning for my players---   Somethings may contain spoilers for game sessions.
