Centuries ago the Kras, a species of beetle like humanoids, beset the world to feast upon the creatures in other land be they beast or man. Their advances brought many races near destruction until the Nadarie brought them to peace. However; prior to this the other races were unaware of the other continents and the races that inhabited them. This onset an age of exploration for many, and an age of fortification for others. Now inter-species relations are at a fairly neutral point and could be pushed to either side at any point.
