session 5

General Summary

The group will finish fighting the wyverns and travel a bit or camp out there and take a long rest. during this time I will randomly choose a player. While they are sleeping, one player will see a crow just before they fall asleep. As they drift to sleep and begin to dream they will dream that they are being chased and the crow is screaming at them. It will start to attack them del 1d6 of mental damage. The player must make 3 wisdom saving throws DC15 to wake up. if they fail the damage increase to 2d6 and so on and so forth until they wake up to a crow standing on their chest. It flies away impatiently.  Once morning comes the players make their way through the mountains. It will be very cloudy when they wake up as though a great storm is approaching. The two guides will mention how the mountains are full of monsters and how they're surprised we haven't run into more. The monsters will try their best to kill the players. Once the battle has been going on ENER THE DEMI LITCH. A ghostly apparation floats out of the mountain Next to them. The demi litch will target the strong players first. So they are gonna target the monk, the barbarian and the wizard first. Seeing them as the imeadiet threat. If the players manage to defeat them then they will end combat to the begining of a storm. They will seek shelter in a nearby cave as the storm is getting to hard to handle. They cave's entrance will be fine. If any of them venture further into the cave they will trigger a lair action. The players can choose to leave the cave, if they do they will have to find another cave and risk exhustion searching in the snow/sleet/rain. It will take several hours to find another cave. If they choose to stay they will have to fight a rather fearsome vampire. https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/17043-vampire He had been turned many hundreds of years ago and hass sworn to protect the demi litch for eternity. If any of the players get bitten by him they will have to make a DC 20 con sav throw or else have their con go down two points and bite damage. Zombies and shadows will begin to emerge from behind it. They are trying to protect the the demilitches skul which resides in the far back of the cave. IF they defeat them they can go back there and destroy the skull. There is nothing back ther but a bunch of bone dust and one gold coin. the coin is unlucky and eveytime they have to make a skill check they roll at disadvantge. After this fight they will need to take another long rest and possibly resouperate from lots of losses. once they recover they will ecit the mountains and have to stealithily enter the town of grayton. DC 10 group stealth check to sneak pst the guards. Then they an explore the town. Grayton  getting into the castle    Maybe in some tavern or something they hear someone mention how sad it is that the queen died and how they'll likely be going to war with Meros shortly. And thta's might be good for buisness up here.
