Yet now the streets and cities are crumbling, their grandeur darkened by rot from the inside. Realizing that the Heart of Raidos, a gem containing the living essence of the Goddess of Light, is the key to returning the prosperity of the Republic, Serena and her friend Aizick begin a perilous journey to cross the continent and reach the Praemar Empire, where the Heart came from originally and where the means to restore the power of the goddess lies. To guide their path, they turn to Vincent Galvan, a wayfinder mercenary working in neighboring Gywin, to lead the way.
