Allentrian Guardian of Firemagic Valaan

Valaan is the Allentrian god and guardian of firemagic. His domain is the Fironem, and he now dwells in the deepest trench of the Chasm (after having been evicted from the volcanic range during the Great War).
Like all gods (with the exception of his sister, Shivnath), Valaan was given a mortal form to use which is in alignment with his magic. He has the form of a great fiery phoenix, and in his prime it was said that his feathers burned bright with every color of the rainbow.
As of the Twelfth Age, however, due to Necrovar's return and subsequent takeover of the Fironem, Valaan has fallen ill, and his fires burn sluggish and slow.
