BadMek StankEye Character in Seelen Stream Sub-Sector: A Warhammer 40k Setting | World Anvil

BadMek StankEye

Few orks compare to the brutal cunning that makes for the massive bulk of BadMek StankEye. The hulking cybork form of the the mek is only matched by his distrust of other orks and his love of wild creation within his warband. No ork in the sub-sector can compete with his technical prowess but it is a desperate warboss indeed to inquire for his services. An ork is just likely to have his head sliced off with the BaMek's killsaw or desintergrated with his "Stank Eye" as he is to acquire even a single piece of the notoriously paranoid ork's exquisite wargear or machines.

Physical Description

Apparel & Accessories

BadMek StankEye is more machine than ork, a fact that StankEye himself takes great pride in as long as he's not reminded of how that first happened. Due to the accident and his constant self experimentation, the ork's frame has grown to be a massive hulk of ramshackle machinery. Most of the systems are dedicated to maintaining the mek's biological functions or to assist in building his insane inventions.

Specialized Equipment

Other than the bulk of him, it is StankEye's inventions that make him truly lethal. His most prominent being his cybork eye that dominates the middle of his face. This augmetic he had over time developed into a kustom tellyport blasta, effectivly being able to teleport portions of any target he looks at at will into anywhere within the immediate vicinity. Typically a hundred feet in the air or within a ships bulkhead. When not feeling up to it or to have more fun up close, StankEye uses his favorite Killsaw arm that is just as efficient at separating tank hulls as it is separating the legs from a respective opponents body.

Personal history

StankEye began life as any Odd Boy by spawning within one the many larger wrecks of the Montark Debris Fields. Known then as Stankeye for seemingly constant frown and demenour, he grew among the various void borne ork tribes that infest the fields. Stankeye always had a pension for invention and unlike other Mek Boys, a fairly cordial friendship with the local runt'erds. For providing some of the best gear to the runt'erds, StankEye was in turn rewarded with some of the best squigs to eat and smartest grotz to kick and work in his workshop. This caused in an increasingly jealous streak among the other meks who devised a way to get rid of the ever more inventive and powerful Stankeye.   There chance came with the annoucnment of StankEye's newest "Big Bang Blasta Kannon". The first firing was sabotaged through the subtle filling of the barrel with explosives. StankEye was engulfed in the resulting explosion and when convinced StankEye was dead, the meks looted his gun, gear, and ship. His Grotz, however, managed to hide during the plot and once the dust settled, took what was left of their boss back to the workshop. Through swearing, wiring, and at least two grot related electrical fires, Stankeye was stable and consious enough to begin rebuilding himself. Over the course of a week the bad mek grew bigger and angrier, swearing he would kill all the gitz that did him wrong. As he emerged from his workshop with a glistening cybork body, BadMek vowed he'd never trust an ork for as long as he'd live and instead only allow grotz and those that the grotz vouch for since if they lie he could just eat them.   Over the next several years, BadMek StankEye crisscrossed the debris field krumping every single one of his rivals or those that he perceived as having betrayed him until he was the most powerful Mekboy in the debris field. Now he raids the sub-sector, looting scrap and technology of other inhabitants within the Seelen Stream. This has lead to the paradox where he now is the most accomplished mek, garnering attention from orks all over the sub-sector while simultaneously being known for his hatred of other orks and hating the constant stream of prospective clients.
