Art of the Spirits
Art is known by many names. She is the first goddess, put upon the Creation to guard it with passive indifference. The only goddess to be considered the child of the Spirits, the first being of sentience in the physical world. All others came quite a while after.
She is the goddess of the Balance - the pull and push, the take and give, the hunter and the hunted - that keep the worlds in Existence. Her Gift is her only contact with the physical world - the Protector of the Balance that was put there to protect her charge against the treat in the mortal realms, where she cannot reach.
Her form can be found in any multi-god temple.
Her worshipers consider themselves brothers and sisters. Whenever they wander outside the temple, they cover their bodies in gold (main priestess) or silver - making them untouchable. Anyone who touches the pilgrim will have the body part with which they touched cut off. They live peacefully in secluded temples that usually don't allow visitors.
Any possible offsprings of the worshipers have to be abandoned (or usually given to a non-worshiper parent). The monthly sermon, week-long fasting, and training must be done on sacred ground, without the non-devotees present.
