Cairn of Beauties

The warlord Drust, a Morrian, fell in love with the daughter of another Morrian warlord, Feidlimid (/feɪlɪmə/), with which his tribe was at war. After meeting with her in secret for several months he stole her away from her family so that they might marry. Their two tribes went to war. Feidlimid became pregnant, when she was nearing the end of her pregnancy there was a great battle near their home. The stress sent her into premature labor and she died in childbirth.
Drust channeled his grief into the construction of the Cairn of Beauties in Sequanii, two days out from Filitreba. The Cairn was constructed with gray and white stones. The white stones seem to gleam in the moonlight with the words "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." The building is decorated with trees carved like a continuing string woven into knots and leaves like spirals with white jade and yellow topaz flowers. There are also birds in the same woven design. Carved celestial beings are guarding the entrance that appear so life like you find yourself waiting for them to take a breath. The opening is a spiked arch that is double wide with spiral columns on either side and a band about four feet up and about half a foot wide with more of the bird motif. Each of the birds has green jade eyes. The statues have blue topaz eyes.
The interior of the cairn contains a blue topaz bowl at the center of which is a stone etched with a knotted pattern and from which a fountain bubbles. The roof is glass with seven diamonds positioned to focus the light on the fountain making the water sparkle as it jumps. The glass allows a garden to flourish around the edges of the cairn, lush and rich with color. There is a sarcophagus made of white marble and carved in the shape of his wife. The monumental quality of the structure makes it one of the wonders of the world.
