The Theory of Magic

The Theory of Magic is a compulsory class for years 1 to 3 at Taru International Academy, where students are scheduled for 3 classes each week. It is a seen as a vital subject that helps students understand the nature of their power as a Magi, the The Seven Concepts of Magic and the skills to harness it correctly and safely. In the first year, good grades and attendance will improve the student's ability to cast, create potions, and read magic.   There are a number of teachers who are responsible for teaching the subject, with multiple teachers sharing the load of teaching first years.   Subscribers can see which teacher their favourite character will have...
The Theory of Magic is known for regularly giving students homework. The reward for completing the homework is grade improvement and skill improvement, but at a cost of student exhaustion. It is important to decide what to prioritise in school life.
As students advance to the 4th year, the subject is replaced with the compulsory Responsibility Practice, which is scheduled for 1 class each week. This is to remind students of their responsibility to keep themselves and those around them safe by not being reckless with their magic. It is not a well loved subject and some students are sent to additional classes in the subject if they have been caught misbehaving.   A good grade in Theory of Magic can make it easier to apply for Advanced Casting class. The skills learned in Theory of Magic can also allow students to apply for specialist classes in their favourite concept of magic.
