Sea Demon World

Inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, this world is set in the late period of the Golden Age of Piracy between 1650 and 1730, very similar to the regular Earth.   Much like our Earth, this Earth is drawing to a close the age of pirates as the British naval forces are cracking down on piracy across the seven seas. Still, some remain ever criminal and keep the legacy of pirates going on. Among that some is the infamous Sea Demon Captain Benjamin "Bendy" Stein.   As well, in this world exists all the monsters every human was ever warned about. Mermaids, dragons, demons, monsters, fairfolk, curses, and awful fathers. The world is a treacherous place for our heroes as they seek the legendary island of El Divinidad and encounter friends, enemies, old flames, estranged family, and curses out the wazoo. But can they break the curse of the captain before it's too late? Will our heroes ever get together before all this mutual pining kills us all? And how in the world did Edgar get an albatross as a pet!? That thing is bigger than him!   Filled with deception, love, betrayal, fighting, and familial bonds, this is a world made specifically for a roleplay between my partner and I.
