Ranged Combat Modifiers   Target is at half range or less -1 difficulty to hit (Thrown weapons only)   Target is fairly large -1 or -2 difficulty to hit   Target is at 2x "effective range", +1 difficulty to hit (bows and crossbows only)   Windy, +1 difficulty all shots, May not fire beyond "effective range"   Dark or foggy +2 difficulty all shots, half "effective range"   Ad hoc Projectile +2 difficult to hit (a highly improvised thrown weapon or an arrow with something tied on to it)   Target is running +1 difficulty to hit   Target is prone +1 difficulty to hit   Target is on a trotting horse +2 difficulty to hit   Target is on a galloping horse +3 difficulty to hit   Shooter is on Horseback +1-4, see Mounted Combat Systems for more details
