Prince Konstantin was the younger brother of Talama's last king, Leonid Deorac II.
Prince Konstantin is considered a great hero by the modern House Deorac. After Swynfaredia conquered Talama, almost all the Deoracs that survived Swynfaredian attempt to purge the Deorac family owe their lives to Prince Konstantin who led as many as he could into Fumaya disguised as low born commoners.
It was also noted that he was the only member of the Deorac that didn't try to take any family relics with him in his flight, which modern Deorac take as a lesson to not be vain and to live simply despite their high birth.
