Gareth the Bastard Socerer

Gareth the First was a bastard child of Lord Maelog Fremiss the Strategist, shunned at the time for his mostly human appearance (he was 75% human by blood afterall). While shunned by most dragonbloods, he was treated fairly well by his father. He rewarded him with loyalty and service.
"The House of Gareth" was an informal nickname for Gareth descendants for some time. It was only after The First Swynfaredian Civil War that House Gareth  became the first formally recognized new Swynfaredian house.
