Blue Birds of Paradise

Blue Birds of Paradise are fairly common but fairly weak spirits created to serve Mera.  
Most can fly, survive almost any climate and speak every language.  Some have healing, protection, or divination magic, but this is fairly rare.

Blue Birds of Paradise are Mera's most common messenger spirit and their appearance is usually considered a good omen (though Blue Birds of Paradise can and do issue warnings when needed).  It is common to find images of Blue Birds of Paradise in the artwork of the Tenders temples and shrines.
