Scarreon

The world of scarreon has been at war for thousands of years. It consists of one continent that is split in the middle by the border between two kingdoms. As far as anyone can remember, these Kingdoms have been at war with each other. The economy, the world the people live in and everything in their daily lives is marked by these wars. Times of peace have been scarce on scarreon.   The continent mostly has a harsh, cold climate. Only once you head to the very south do you get some more temperate regions. Only magic allows the farmers of scarreon to actually grow crops and work their fields. This is why magic has a very high standing in both nations. On the other hand, magic users are a rarity and are sought out specifically for this purpose. At the same time, the enemies magic users are often taken prisoner and/or executed to deny this very important resource.
