Currency of Kisangi

The nations that make up the Kisangi continent proper share a single currency minted under the authority of The Order of the Threesome and colloquially known as "temple coin".

The values and names of the currency:

It used to be that a hun was supposed to be the amount of honey that a single bee could produce in a day, but the currency has long since become valued for its face, not for its metals or representative labor.

The temples will take deposits of coins and issue scripts of accounts to free citizens of good standing. Merchants especially use these temple scripts as it allows them to travel with minimal coins about their person, and withdraw money from any temple in Kisangi. It is said that Gods themselves ensure the safety of the money held by the temples and woe betide a thief who attempts to steal from the Gods.

One side of the coin will have the face of the current The Balancer, the other shows stylized images of:
  • Hun: A bee
  • Maxi: A snake
  • Talen: Two tails entwined
  • Crown: A sunburst crown
  • Blaze: A fire
  • Chime: A cloud
If the people of Kisangi toss a coin, they will ask: Man or God
