Order of the Nine

The Order of the Nine is a collection of old warriors and wizards with their own personal armies that allow them to enforce the will of their Lord Bohem.
During the Turmmond Rebellion, where the last lord of Hertz, Turmmond the Broad sought to unseat the Baron Douglas, ten soldiers agreed that there was only madness in trying to take the city. Thus, lead by Bohem the Golden Haired, they assassinated Lord Turmmond and broke the siege on the city.
From there, they ransomed back the captured soldiers and citizens to Baron Douglas in exchange for their noble titles and control of Hertz.
Thus, Bohem ascended to Lord and his Nine fellow soldiers became his nobles.
