Sanatira

Long ago all nations fought a great war all over the fields and oceans of Sanatira, but those days have long since passed. Most people now live freely inside the nation's keeps and walls left around by history. Common folk know little of the current relations between the nations, and live their lives of agriculture, trade or craft peacefully. Sometimes their lives are good, they raise a good family, run a rich trade route or support a nearby town with a commodity from their mine. Others are not so lucky, their farms overrun by goblins, trading caravans attacked by bandits or their mine lost to evil creatures. This people are the ones that sometimes find themselves playing a different part in this world. They find work as mercenaries trying to avenge their families lost to the goblins, they seek purpose in the work of an acolyte, some close themselves to books and practice arcane studies and its secrets, and others blame the nations and its walls for not defending them so they become assassins, politicians or revolutionists. This people find that the peace and safety of city walls are a mere illusion. They see the lies behind the curtain of peace, some joining the organizations that are trying too shatter the peace, others starting their own to defend it.
