'Ádh din Géric
Ancestry and early life
'Ádh di Géric stems from a Duiniken family in Nuat Duinis Talou that can be traced back for centuries. While the family is established within the Duiniken society, none of the family members prior to 'Ádh rose to a comparable position. 'Ádh stuck out from his peers from a very young age by virtue of his assiduousness as well as determination, which some perceived even as ruthlessness. He excelled in exactness and showed a great prowess in fighting. For these abilities he was soon discovered for the Duiniken army and received a training befitting his personality.
'Ádh left his family, when he was 15, being draft into the army and finding his personal purpose there. He quickly became more popular with his superiors than with his peers and started rising through the ranks.
Career and private life
Not much is known about his private life. Unmarried and not known to be a ladie's man, no notable relationships are known. The only exception might be his personal assistant, interestingly a Len of Tuuqasleen origin, by the name Syfiisi, who is rumoured to be in a secret relationship with him.
'Ádh's military career is characerised by successes and promotions, often to the disadvantage of others, earning him a rather sinister reputation. Whichever force drives him through this career path is not clear, but 'Ádh is seen as an individual of power and authority, not respect and aspiration. Some even suspect him of planning to seize power, should the current king become a victim of his own aspirations to reclaim the Duiniken homelands...
Historical impact
'Ádh din Géric is the leader of the Duiniken army and considered the right hand of king 'Orhham Fhén. His stern leadership has made the Duiniken army one of the mightiest in Erana, ready for the reconquest of the Duiniken homeland. This is the mark 'Ádh is foreshadowed to leave in not only Duiniken, but Eranas' history.
