Sammegalann

A world on another arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, far from our own. Where every thousand miles in space of distance, that they are apart, can be seen in every cliff, every plant, every person, every ripple of water, on this foreign planet so unfathomably far from our own no human could comprehend the distance, or the differences. Where billions of years ago part of this planet was shorn off and traveled that unfathomable distance, over years, through tears in space caused by gravitational pulls and concentrations of forces so unknown and mystical that they can not be called anything else but simply "magic". Across the galaxy, to find a home on our own planet, fusing with volcanic rock still hardening for millions of years as the protoplanet Earth shed its heat to the great entropic forces of the universe.   This is a world and a story set on not Earth, not about that chunk, but of its whole; of a planet of dangers so fierce that only the strongest or most clever survived through the eons. A world of a vast underground ocean, of jungles that stretch continents wide, of mountains so vast they nearly break free of the atmosphere, of deserts that blast heat so great it creates glass in waves across its sands. Its local name may be inpronounceable for you, so you can call it more simply, Salann.
