Tasshaseki Kes (127-222 KG) was the one of the first female members of the national senate, as well as the first female head of senate.

History

Tasshaseki Kes was Born in in Karathe, the daughter of a member of the national senate, Kaknens Kes, a member of the Social Reform Party. She was elected to the senate for the Eastern district of Karathe At the age of 28 in 155 NG, as the first female senator. A member of the Social Reform party, like her father, she rose to prominence and popularity in her run. In 160 NG she ran and became president, marking her as not only the first female senator, but first female head senator as well. She won re-election twice for head senator, in 165 and 170 KG.

In 168 KG, members of the extremist royalist rises group attempted to assassinate her. She was injured with a cut on her arm and side, but survived the attack. The surviving plotters were caught and executed.

Policies

Tasshaseki Kes was head senator during the time of increased immigration of humans and Sylvanians to the country, leading a push in a coalition of parties to allow more immigration and integration of outsiders, breaking free from previous isolationist policies in previous administrations.
She also frequently worked with the prisoner's rights party, helping to pass reforms on prisoner conditions, and less strict punishments for those under the age of 15.

Retirement and Post-political life

Tashaseki Kes didn't run for election after her 3rd term ended in 175. She retired to Relton and married and  had two children.

Death

Tashaseki kes died of heart failure in her home in Relton, in 222 KG at the age of 95.
