Robora

Robora is a large tropical rainforest in southwestern Salia. Officially part of the Salian monarchy but in practice essentially autonomous. Most Salians avoid Robora due to the large amounts of diseases and venomous snakes, visitors are rare and mostly consist of adventurers or daring traders.   The local populace worships their ancestors and often keep the bones of their family members as valuable heirlooms. By ingesting a drink based on the local Valon fruit they are able to enter a spiritual trance where they can communicate with ancestor spirits in local shrines.

Geography

Robora is bordered by mountains to the northwest and the sea to the south. The forest consists mostly of many small islands in the shallow waters, the water becomes progressively saltier in the southern parts.
