Yelve Umuselvin

As a reward of this find, Yelve was transferred into the possession of the library, along with the scrolls he had found. He took a last name reflecting the event, Umuselvin 'finding in the caves'. He dedicated his life for study, and became a great scholar, finally earning his freedom and citizenship. He was responsible for aquiring many valuable works of literature and adding them to the library's collection. His goal was making the library a great place of learning and enlightenment for everyone.
History
During the Silford-Artana war of 295's AFS the young Yelve, then a slave was serving his master on the fronteer. He fled his master into the winding Caves of Leitandár, hoping to escape by hiding deep in the unlit tunnels. But accidentally he stumbled on a large archive of scrolls. When he got others to see the find, it was revealed that the cave had been used to hide the Artanan records, to keep them from destruction in the sacking of the city. After their discovery, the scrolls were seized, and taken by the army back to Silford. Death
In his later years Yelve became more and more obsessed with his studies, and rarely spent time with the other archivists. He died in unclear circumstances, but it is said that it was a fatal accident, something to do with his studies. The rumors whisper, that he had been researching Greystone smithing, but the powers he was dealing with were much too powerful for him to contain.
