Saeren

Saeren is a world that has weathered much. The ruins of ancient civilizations lie hidden away in the wilds, while the Shattered Lands cut a jagged scar across all of Saer. Meanwhile, the Northern Wastes remain uncharted, and none who venture there return. Beyond the boundaries of kingdoms, life can be dangerous indeed.   Despite all this, civilization has flourished. The six human kingdoms are at the apex of their power, and command the (sometimes grudging) respect of the other races. The plantfolk continue to blossom in the fungal marsh, occasionally extending feelers into the outside world. In the south, the To-Lor and the Vai'Ance maintain a steady alliance, though they frequently see less than eye-to-eye.   However, all is not right on Saeren. In the shadows and alleys of the grand city of Conflux, a darkness festers that could expand to threaten the entire world. Agents of an unknown organization sow discord among the human kingdoms while the wars between the Vai'Ance city-states grow ever bloodier. Meanwhile, there are whispers that the Blood of Anomeer have returned to wreak the vengeance they promised.   Will you seek out and vanquish these evils, or stand idly by as they engulf the continent in turmoil?
