Tahali the Warrior poet
Being born to a militant nation makes one likely to be a soldier. All the worse for a poetic soul like Tahali who was born to long line of soldiers. Raised from a young age to fight and die for the house Tahali’s most cherished memories were of his mother reading to him from her books of poetry. While the noble family does have its diplomats and artisans when Tahali came of age he was pressured to follow in the footsteps of all his ancestors. Had he shown no skill for the martial path things might have changed but Tahali seemed to be innately talented and both pride and fear of failure kept him from failing to try his hardest. With every swing of his blade Tahali’s soul cries out in pain but duty must come before all else. Tahali tries to compose his own poetry in the midst of battle but usually they fall upon deaf ears as his allies are busy and his enemies care not for the soul when a sword is at their throat.
