Mental characteristics

Personal history

Gannon Grayson was adopted into the Whaite family, a cabal of merchants who worshiped the God of Conquest. Having several of their family ascend to directly serve Keima they had gained a portion of divine power for themselves and used it to take and control most of the city of Landing.   It was in service to the Whaite family Gannon Grayson was chosen to join the angelic host of the God of Conquest and was invested with a fraction of the divine spark so that upon his death he would arise an angel of Keima. But just as Gannon was to be killed he was spared in an act of mercy from a Knight of Saint Rose which touched his heart.   Grayson forswore the divine spark within himself to serve the Saint Rose. Never had anyone been given the Divine Spark only to reject it, in doing so Gannon not only removed the divine spark but ripped himself from the very weave of divinity. An anomaly among humans and angels nothing divine could touch him be it divine magic from clerics and paladins or even magic from divine creatures like angels.   Afterwords he was hunted by the Whaite and the followers of Keima but still Grayson fought to make Landing a better place as a Questor of the Saint Rose. He fought demons, dragons, and assassins all in the name of good. But the largest difference he made was to work together with the heirs to the Whaite family and turn them away from war and towards bettering their home. By the time Gannon Grayson grew too old and too wounded to continue his crusade he had remade the city of Landing from a port of intrigue into a thriving merchant harbor.

Employment

Gannon Grayson began his work as a soldier in the Whaite family criminal organization where he was eventually revealed to be a distant relative of the Whaite bloodline. With this revelation he rose quickly in the ranks till he became part of the New Heirs, a collection of Whaite family members of note who were raised to be the next leaders. There he was reognized for his excellence by Whaite family's patron Keima marking his life shorter but destined for greatness thereafter. After being spared in battle he changed his life and forsook his birthright only to raise among the Questors of the Saint Rose. Today he is one of the recognized as one of the most skilled Knights of the Saint Rose even though he has mostly retired from active duty he teaches initiates.

Mental Trauma

He hated his own divine powers. Believing his ability had too much power for a mortals and hated that his power came from the God Keima. Fearing his unchecked power could corrupt his soul he turned to the path of the Knight in hopes of tempering his soul. In doing so he became abholy.
