Belcob is no king but that does not stop him from acting as if he was. God of lordship and nobility he is an old god of nobility that came to prominence from the first warlords who used power to gain prestige. God to decadent nobles and power hungry surfs all pray to their god for power to take what they believe is rightfully theirs.
