S'alothar

S'alothar is an island that shouldn't exist. Not bound to anywhere into the multiverse, it jumps through space every month. The powerful magic regulating the jumps from accidentally transporting S'alothar through the Far Realm or Nine Hells relies constant upkeep by star elf Shepherds, and the enchantments binding the island still twist and contort the land's natural laws. A legend on most worlds, many S'alotharians are originally from another planet, and have mingled with native culture, forming a new society. And as the ruling sea elves ruling the island clash with water genasi in politics, a shadowy force pierces the island's magical defenses. Throughout the island, sahuagin grow bolder, the island's magic starts to slowly crumble, and the gods themselves seem to turn their backs on S'alothar. Hey, where did all those hill dwarves go?
